Friday Harbor tinyRadio is an FCC Part 15 compliant low power AM community microstation and internet radio.
NOTES: If you hear me making announcements on-air, you can call in with announcements for your (public) activity, music album request, etc.
I went ahead and got an Acer Aspire One netboock (couldn't afford the Macbook). Therefore Friday Harbor tinyRadio will
be on and off the air late nights testing this little thing for webcasting live audio on location outside the studio. Thanks
for your patience and support.
If your browser doesn't start playing the broadcast when you click the
play button, it may not support the Flash player in which case you
can click HERE to launch your default player for internet radio. If it
still won't play it's probably because your computer came with a
proprietary player.
Under Windows XP, Vista, 7, we now recommend running
WINAMP Player set to play sound in your browser and also check out
PC Decrapifier.
** OUR MISSION is to serve the town of Friday Harbor
with local news, weather, sports, special events, and entertainment -
all brought to you in glorious sandflea-powered Amplitude Modulated
Monophonic sound (except of course here on the internet).
We apologize for sporadic on-air availability as we are building
programming one step at a time. Please be patient and watch us grow.
We're also building another transmitter for better/clearer AM radio
coverage. It may be on a different frequency, at least temporarily.
